Orders placed for shipment within the United States are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS). Standard Mail is available if your total cart contents are less than 13 ounces. Fourteen ounces and above, Priority and
Express shipping are available within the Continental
United States. Orders placed for shipment to locations outside the US
will be shipped based on the method selected during checkout. Exact
shipping rates are calculated during checkout and are based on the weight of
your order and the method you choose for shipping. Currently Kid Music ships to United States, Canada, US Military Addresses, Australia and the United Kingdom. Other international
residents need to call or e-mail for availability, shipping options and costs.
Some products are shipped separately. Product which are shipped by themselves have specific processing options selectable when you are adding the item to the cart. The cost and timeframe of those processing options are shown prior to adding the item to your cart. Some products have only one shipping option available. These items can not be shipped any other method than what is provided for on the items page.
All orders will be shipped to the Ship To Address on
the order. Please verify the Ship To Address is correct before
completing your order. If you've made a mistake on your order, and realize it
after you've completed your order, send us an email with the word "Attention" in
the subject line immediately so it can be corrected before it is shipped.
If an order is lost or damaged we will only re-ship your order to the Ship To
Address on your original order.
We can not ship to multiple Ship To
Addresses in one order. If you would like your products sent to multiple addresses, you must
enter separate orders for each Ship To Address.
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours (two business
days) of when your order is placed. Orders placed by 9:00 am EST on a
business day are usually packaged and shipped the same day.
Kid Music can not guarantee when your package will arrive at your door. Delivery times are
dependent on the US Postal System and/or your countries postal system so please be patient. Tracking is available for most items shipped within the US.
Once an order is shipped it will take approximately 4
to 14 business days to arrive via Standard Mail. Our
experience is that your order should arrive within 3 to 5 business days
depending on where in the country you live. Saturday and Sunday are not
considered business days. During the Holiday Season shipping times may be
increased significantly, sometimes even double or triple. Shipping times are based on the
United States Postal Service and are not guaranteed by Kid Music. Once we ship
your order we can not control how fast the US Postal Service gets the package to
you.
When an order is shipped, you will receive an email
from Kid Music providing you with a tracking number and shipping date
(shipments within the United States only). You will be able to track
the status of your order through the USPS scan history. The USPS doesn't
provide real time tracking on shipped packages. They will provide a
confirmation of shipment and a confirmation of delivery. They will sometimes
provide in transit information but not always.
Priority Mail is available at an additional cost.
We've found Priority Mail seems to improve the shipping time over Standard Mail. The USPS says Priority Mail should be
received in 3 to 6 business days. However, the USPS does not guarantee
that. During the Holiday Season shipping times may be increased significantly,
sometimes double. Shipping times are based on the United States Postal Service
and are not guaranteed by Kid Music. Once we ship your order we can not control
how fast the US Postal Service gets the package to you.
If you're in a hurry to receive your order you should
select the Express Mail shipping method. It is also available at an
additional cost. By using Express Mail most orders are received within 2 to 3
business days, even during the Holiday Season. The USPS does guarantee the
delivery time but it is based on the criteria listed on their web site
at www.USPS.com . Please refer to the USPS's
web site for further details. Failure of the Post Office to deliver your
package per their stated policy must be addressed by the customer with the USPS
directly. Please keep a copy of your shipping information to provide the Post
Office.
If you purchased Shipping Insurance during check out and your order is lost or damaged, Kid Music will
ship an identical replacement to the original mailing address. Refunds
are not provided because of slow delivery or a lost delivery by the shipper. Since
we use a delivery tracking system, we can not consider a package lost
until the the shipper fails to deliver the package for 3 weeks after the shipment date.
Once a package is considered lost by the shipper, Kid Music will send an identical
replacement at no additional cost to the customer if you've purchased Shipping Insurance. Kid Music is not responsible for packages lost or damaged by the shipper if Shipping Insurance is declined during checkout. You must notify us at Customer Service to file a claim for a replacement.
