How does the gift certificate work? After completing your order you will be emailed a gift certificate redemption code. This code is just like a cash discount when someone later wants to order an item from the web site. Within 30 minutes of completing your order you will receive a copy of your invoice with your gift certificate code attached and a link to download a printable gift certificate. Just download and print out the gift certificate, fill in the information on it including the certificate code that was in your email and it is ready to be given to the recipient. If you ordered the hard copy of the gift certificate, we will create the gift certificate for you and send it to the person you indicated as the ship to address in your order. You don't need to do another thing.
How do I redeem my gift certificate code? After you've added the items you would like to receive to your shopping cart then proceed to check out. On the screen titled "Review and Complete Your Order" enter your gift certificate code in the correct field and click the "Add" button. Verify that the value of the coupon has been deducted from your total. Complete the check out procedure. Your products will be sent via the shipping methods you choose in your order. If your code is not registering, please call us before you complete your order. Gift certificate codes can not be applied to previously completed orders.
Why did get an emailed copy, I ordered a Hard Copy of the certificate? You will still receive the gift certificate and redemption code via email if you order the hard copy option. Please save the emailed gift certificate as a back-up copy. The certificate code you receive via email will be the same code that will be printed on the printed certificate we send.
How many times can the code be used? Your certificate code can be used only one time. You can give the code to someone else using the either a printed or emailed copy of the gift certificate. Once someone uses that gift certificate code it is de-activated and can not be used again. Please protect your gift certificate code as it is the equivalent of the dollar value you purchased.
I purchased/received a larger denomination and didn't use it all in one order. What happens to the rest of the value? The remaining value can be used in your next purchase. Just enter the same code again and any remaining balance will be deducted from your order.
The denomination is less than the amount I'd like to spend? When you check out, enter the gift certificate code. The amount of the certificate will be deducted from your total. You can then pay the remaining balance with your choice of credit card.
The person I gave the certificate to never used it? Or, I never gave the certificate to anyone, can I use it? Yes, who ever has the certificate code can redeem the certificate but once it has been redeemed it can no longer be redeemed by anyone else who may have your certificate code.
